<span style="font-size:130%;">
<span style="font-family:courier new;">18 NOV 2005, 15.00h - Memo on buying Tobin's images</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">Art buying can be a confusing, convoluted game, which is why I've decided to simplify the process and start selling my work by the square foot.</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">Photographic prints for <span style="font-style: italic;">Personal Use in Private Collections</span> [this is NOT image licensing] which I have already printed are now priced at $65/sq. ft. Anything smaller than a square foot counts as a square foot. Other dimensions will be rounded. </span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">Here's an example:</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;"> - You want to buy one of my new intense Fulton Street portraits from Brooklyn. </span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">    - I have recently printed about 10 unique 20x24 images at ColorSpace in Manhattan.</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;"> - You see these images at my gallery site - soon to be www.seelevel.tobinrussell.com</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">            formerly www.stealthisdesign.com</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">    - You send your inquiry to Tobin at prefer@tobinrussell.com</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">    - I mail back that your purchase will cost you: 20 x 24 = 480"/ 144" per sq. ft = 3.33~</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">    - Since you're buying SO MUCH footage, I round to 3 sqare feet x 65. = 195. + S&amp;H</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">1.    I accept credit cards, but it's through PayPal but there is a way to</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">        do it without registering with PayPal</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">2.    I prefer checks.</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">3. Every purchase is guaranteed to increase your quality of life or your money back.</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">--</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">Photographic images that I do not have an exhibition print for can be ordered. If you place a print order that requires darkroom time by yours truly, the cost to you per sqaure foot is $100. Custom orders [that's what it means when I have to do it special for you] are a minimum of $200. No maximum!</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">--</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">And finally: I will be posting images that I have</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">recently printed with square footage noted here</span>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">at ArtDirection.tobinrussell.com.</span>
<br/>
<br/>
<span style="font-family:courier new;">--</span>
